The Embassy attended the 2025 edition of the Riga Conference (October 9-11), an annual forum on security, defence and foreign policy organized by the Latvian Transatlantic Organization (LATO), together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Latvia, in collaboration with the University of Latvia.

This event is the leading forum on security, defence and foreign policy in the Nordic-Baltic region, bringing together public officers, international experts, academics, journalists, and representatives of the business sector.

Dr. Juan Battaleme, State Secretary for International Relations at the Ministry of Defence of the Argentine Republic, participated as a speaker in the closing panel alongside the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia, Baiba Braže, in a discussion entitled "The Future of Multilateralism: The UN’s Evolving Role in a Fragmented World."
