In April 2015, the Network of Argentine Scientists in Finland (RCAFi) was formed within the framework of the RAICES Program of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation. RCAFi is a non-legally registered association of highly qualified Argentine researchers, scientists, technologists, and professionals residing in Finland.
RCAFi is a non-political, non-profit organization that seeks to promote the creation of new ties between Argentina and Finland in the area of scientific and technological research. The technical coordination of the network is led by a diplomatic official from the Argentine Embassy in Finland, who supports and oversees the group's operations. RCAFi members meet regularly at the Embassy.
