We had the pleasure of welcoming representatives from the Government of the City of Buenos Aires and the Industrial Union of the Province of Buenos Aires (UIPBA) to the Embassy, currently visiting Finland as part of a program organized by the Finnish Innovation Fund SITRA.

The meeting included the delegation from the Government of the City of Buenos Aires, led by Carolina Theler, Director General of Environmental Policy and Strategy at the Environmental Protection Agency, and the delegation from UIPBA, headed by Ms. Patricia Malnati, Director of the Environment and Sustainability Department.

We discussed various aspects of the bilateral relationship and opportunities to strengthen it. We also learned about the interesting agenda of meetings and visits held as part of the program, particularly regarding sustainability policies, circular economy models, waste management, and opportunities for technology transfer.
