The consultations took place on September 30 in Buenos Aires, chaired by the Undersecretary of Foreign Policy, Marcia Levaggi, and the Undersecretary of State and Political Director of the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ivars Lasis.
During the meeting, the bilateral agenda was reviewed, particularly the economic and trade relationship, support for candidacies, the Question of the Malvinas Islands, parliamentary cooperation, the MERCOSUR-EU Agreement, and Argentina's accession process to the OECD.
Topics of common interest were addressed, such as the situation in Ukraine and Argentina's interest in NATO's Global Partners Program. Regional issues in Latin America, the Middle East, and Europe were also discussed, with the desire to collaborate more closely in light of the challenges presented by the international context.
