Today we had the pleasure of receiving Mr. Hugo Sand, Honorary Consul of Finland in Oberá (Argentina), at the Embassy. Sand's great-grandparents arrived to Argentina in 1906 among the first Finnish migrants that settled in the Colonia Finlandesa in Northern Argentina. 

Finnish newspaper Helsingin Sanomat wrote an article about Hugo Sand's visit to his great-grandparents town in Ostrobothnia during his previous visit to Finland in 2017. It's available in Finnish at: https://www.hs.fi/kotimaa/art-2000005350654.html
