Estonia paid tribute to Astor Piazzolla with a concert on February 20 at the National Library in Tallinn. The performance was carried out by the string trio FRESH formed by Egert Leinsaar on the violin, Karin Sarv on the viola and Villu Vihermäe on the cello, and the trio MAAG, with Kaspar Uljas on the bandoneon, Marek Talts on the guitar and Mingo Rajandi on the contrabass.

The programme included music by Argentine composers Dino Saluzzi and Leopoldo Federico, besides Piazzolla’s music and Russian composer Igor Stravinsky’s.
