Between the 15th and 18th of January, the Argentina was part for the second time at the MATKA tourism fair, organized annually at the Helsinki Fair Centre (Messukeskus) and nowadays the largest tourism fair in northern Europe. The country occupied a 28 square meters stand located in the sector assigned to Latin America and the Caribbean and attended by representatives of the National Institute of Tourism (INPROTUR), Aerolineas Argentinas and Embassy staff. They also offered the opportunity to taste alfajores, dulce de leche and Argentine mate.
This year the fair received over 68,000 visitors -over a thousand more than last year- which confirms the region's interest in tourism.
