Last Thursday, May 22, the anniversary of the May Revolution -representing the National Day of Argentina- was celebrated at an event organized by the Finnish Embassy in Argentina.
The large number of people attending was made up by fellow citizens as well as Ambassadors and officials of most accredited embassies, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, the local academic environment, managers of major Finnish companies and various journalists. A wide variety of gourmet food and Argentine wines was offered.
The Latin American Choir of Helsinki also participated at the event and -as last year- sang the national anthem along with the Argentine guests.
It is estimated that throughout the afternoon the celebration was attended by about 300 people. The Embassy would like to thank everyone who helped organizing the event and to all those who shared this moment.
