Friday, November 19, 2014

For a second consecutive year, a delegation of eight entrepreneurs participated at the 2014 edition of the SLUSH startup convention, which took place in Helsinki on the 17th and 18th of November, as part of a mission organized by the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of Argentina. The Argentine companies represented were Mural.ly, Widow Games, Rock n'Roll Games Studio, and Social Tools.

The delegation also held meetings with the accelerator and techn Tekes (Agency for Technological Development and Innovation); digital services consultancy and investment firm Reaktor; and Rovio, widely known for its video game "Angry Birds".

It is worth noting that Mural.ly, an Argentine startup developing software for businesses (B2B) which markets a visual collaboration tool for remote collective work, was selected to participate in the semi-finals of the "pitching", therefore being among the 20 best projects that participated at the competition.

The delegation also held meetings with the accelerator and technology consulting company Vigo; investment and venture capital fund Butterfly Ventures; digital services consulting company Reaktor and its investment subsidiary Polte; and Rovio, a company well-known for its game "Angry Birds".
