In mid September we will have the pleasure of welcoming the Argentine writer and ilustrator Marisol Misenta, better known as Isol, to Finland.
During her visit in Helsinki, Isol will be giving ilustration workshops and storytelling sessions for children and youngsters. Among one of the main events during her stay is the Pikku Kolibrí -festival at Annantalo on Saturday September 17. Isol's stories will be told in various languages, including Finnish, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish and Swedish.
You can find more information on the Facebook page of the event and the complete program is available here.
In 2013 Isol received the distinguished Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award, granted by the Swedish Arts Council.
