Argentina participated for the third consecutive year at the MATKA travel fair, which took place between the 21st and the 24th January 2016 at the Convention Centre Messukeskus in Helsinki.
The Embassy was joined by Aerolíneas Argentinas, the national airline of Argentina, as well as tour operators New World Travel Designers and INFOBA DMC Argentina as subexhibitors.
Argentina’ stand at MATKA exhibited the country’s vast opportunities for all kinds of travellers. The stand also hosted tastings of dulce de leche and mate, distinguished representatives of the wide variety of Argentina’s delicious gastronomy.
During MATKA, visitors of the fair had the chance to enjoy Argentine rhythms at the main stage of the venue where folklore and Tango ensembles performed.
The stand also featured a device that allowed visitors to picture themselves in Argentina and share their experience on social media.
