The International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights (CIPDH-UNESCO), based in the Argentine Republic (https://www.cipdh.gob.ar/) announces the opening of the VI edition of the International Course on Human Right.
This edition will be titled: "Women in struggle, Gender and Human Rights in the recent history of Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean", will take place in virtual mode between October 24th and November 3rd 2022. There will be 9 (nine) days of virtual synchronous meetings that will include the participation of specialists from various regions and scientific disciplines, and with a selection of specific bibliography. Additionally, there will be asynchronous activities organized around proposals for the analysis of films, documentaries and virtual guided tours of museums.
The course includes lectures and conferences by prominent figures from the academy, key speakers from human rights organizations, officials with a track record in the defense of human rights, among other expert and other extracurricular activities.
Important information:
• The course will be held in Spanish and will have simultaneous interpretation into English, French and Portuguese.
