Ambassador Carlos Mascias participated, along with the Ambassador of Finland to Argentina, Nicola Lindertz, in the opening of "Community Communication Networks to Bridge the Digital Gap (CommuNets)," a project within the Team Finland Knowledge Program.
The project explores the use of community networks to expand connectivity in certain regions and contribute to bridge the existing digital gap.
The University of Buenos Aires (UBA), the National University of the South (UNS), and the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA) from Argentina, and Aalto University from Finland, are partners in this initiative.
This project is coordinated by Dr. Alexis Dowhusko, an Argentine professor at Aalto University and scientific coordinator of the Network of Argentine Scientists in Finland (RCAFi).
We thank the organizers for inviting us to participate in the launch of this project, which strengthens bilateral educational cooperation, promoting teacher and student mobility, and the exchange of experiences and knowledge between both countries.
