ARGENTINA–FINLAND ACADEMIC COOPERATION

We participated in the opening of an intensive course held in Finland and delivered by Argentine faculty within the framework of the project “Community Communication Networks to Bridge the Digital Gap (CommuNets),” an initiative that examines the potential of community networks to expand connectivity in remote areas and help reduce the digital divide.
The course took place at Aalto University and was taught by faculty from the Engineering School of the University of Buenos Aires (FIUBA), the National University of the South (UNS), and the Buenos Aires Institute of Technology (ITBA).
The project is coordinated by Dr. Alexis Dowhusko, an Argentine professor at Aalto University and Scientific Coordinator of the Network of Argentine Scientists in Finland (RCAFi).
We thank the organizers for the opportunity to take part in this initiative, which strengthens bilateral educational cooperation and promotes academic mobility, as well as the exchange of knowledge and experiences between both countries.
