Embassy in Finland | ARGENTINA IN IBEROFEST 2026 ESTONIA

On April 24, 2026, with a full house at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EAMT), we celebrated Ibero-American culture alongside artists from across the region. The concert concluded with an Argentine tango performance organized by this Embassy and performed by Leandro Roco (vocals and guitar) and Mercedes Krapovickas (bandoneon), accompanied by local dancers Maret Värk, Beegi Sillat, Heiki Linnamägi, Anu Linnamägi, Margus Kivi, and Maivi Kärginen-Kivi.

The evening ended with a reception featuring Ibero-American flavors, including Argentine wines.

We extend our special thanks to the Embassy of Spain in Estonia for the organization, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre (EAMT), the artists and dancers who took part in the event, and the more than 300 attendees who joined us.

Our country was also present at the Ibero-American Film Series within the framework of IBEROFEST 2026, which featured an outstanding selection of films from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Portugal.

Argentina was represented with a full-house screening of the classic “Waiting for the Hearse” at Kino Artis Cinema in Tallinn. This screening was made possible thanks to the valuable support of Directores Argentinos Cinematográficos (DAC).

We extend our sincere thanks to the Embassy of España in Estonia for coordinating the series, as well as to the nearly 1,200 attendees who enjoyed a unique cinematic program celebrating the richness and diversity of Ibero-American culture.
