HOLOCAUST REMEMBRANCE DAY CEREMONY

On April 14, the Embassy took part in the Holocaust Remembrance Day (Yom HaShoah) Ceremony organized by the Jewish Community of Helsinki.
During the event, the President of the Jewish Community, Chaya Votkin, the Ambassador of Israel to Finland, H.E. Boaz Rodkin, and Lutheran Bishop Teemu Laajasalo delivered heartfelt reflections and words of remembrance.
During his speech, Ambassador Carlos Mascias emphasized Argentina’s presidency of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance (IHRA) in 2026, reaffirming our country’s longstanding commitment to preserving Holocaust memory and combating antisemitism.
The ceremony gathered ambassadors and diplomats from various countries, Finnish authorities, and members of the local community.
