On Thursday July 7th the 200th Anniversary of the Argentine Independence was celebrated in Helsinki with an “Argentine Afternoon”.

The event was organised in Esplanade Park, a very central location in Helsinki. International artists performed at "Espa" stage offering to enjoy Argentine folklore and tango rhythms.

The event was free of charge and organised by the Embassy of Argentina in Finland and the Argentine-Finnish Association in collaboration with the Municipality of Helsinki.

The artists who performed at the "Argentine Afternoon" were:

• Tango Duo: Esteban Colucci (ARG) & Heiki Mätlik (EST)
• Folklore: Rubén González (ARG), Javier Ramírez (ARG) & Leandro Roco (ARG)
• Petri Kaivanto (FIN)
• Tango Reo: Mercedes Krapovickas (ARG), Leandro Roco (ARG) & Camilla Bäckman (FIN)

The host was Anna Kosonen.
