The exhibition "Huellas Gráficas", composed of works by the Argentine painter Maria Maggiori, was inaugurated yesterday, August 12, at Galleria AVA (Pohjoinen Rautatienkatu 17, Helsinki). The gallery will host the exhibition until next 31st of August.
María Maggiori studied Fine Arts at the Sorbonne, completed her training at the renowned Atelier de Sévrès and was later admitted to the National School of Fine Arts in Montpellier. In Argentina, she studied at the National School of Fine Arts, in the workshops of the Ricardo Rojas Cultural Center, and of artists Andrea Juan and Florencia Braga Menéndez, among others. The distinctiveness of her work has led her to exhibit in Venice, Tokyo, Osaka and Buenos Aires, her hometown.
